Abstract

The article touches upon some stylistic features of speech expressing tolerance and intolerance in modern political discourse. The speeches of presidents and politicians have recently become the subject of study of rhetoric and linguistics, as they contain such formulations, figures and paths, the use of which allows us to suggest that modern political discourse is partly manipulative and declarative in nature and also expresses the speaker’s tolerant or intolerant attitude to a given topic or situation. Therefore, the study of political discourse has theoretical and practical importance.
