Abstract

The membership of Armenia in the Eurasian Economic Union made it possible to start a qualitatively new stage of economic cooperation with the member countries of the Union - Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and subsequently with Kyrgyzstan, which provides for free movement of goods, services, capital and labor between the member countries of the Union. Comprehensive analysis of Armenia’s foreign trade turnover with the EAEU countries during 2015-2016 shows that the effect of Armenia’s integration into the EAEU from the point of view of both exports and imports can be assessed positively. At the same time, there are issues related to the diversification of trade turnover and the commodity structure of export with member countries of the EAEC.
