In recent decades, Armenia’s population has been experiencing a continuous decline in natural growth, which has led to serious demographic challenges for the country. The socio-economic situation, emigration, and the lack of state support for families have contributed to the low birth rate. Specifically, since the 1990s, Armenia has seen a decline in fertility rates, which has long-term effects on the country’s population structure. These trends pose a threat to Armenia’s demographic future and could lead to serious social and economic issues. This article discusses measures to stimulate fertility, as well as ways to improve Armenia’s demographic policy, which can help increase the birth rate and reduce the emigration of young people.
