This article is devoted to assessing the compliance of the presumption of innocence established by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and the Code of Criminal Procedure with international and European standards. An attempt was made to identify the content of the presumption of innocence and problematic aspects in the system of European law. As part of this article, we also tried to comprehensively examine the issue of the presumption of innocence., the positions formed by the European Court of Human Rights regarding its content, taking into account the provisions of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, and based on this we have tried to uncover the importance and place of the positions of the European Court of Human Rights in the legal system of the Republic of Armenia․
