Abstract

In the given article, the methodology for estimating the economic effect of market participants as a result of the liberalization of the wholesale market is considered and the efficiency of transitional models of the wholesale electricity market is analyzed.

The basic pricing models of the bilateral contracts have been set up, and analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the process of liberalization of the electricity wholesale market are analyzed.
