Abstract

National language is an essential ethnic factor not only for the nation formation but also for the further existence of the latter. The results of the conducted experiment have proved the fact that it is necessary to take into consideration not only the data of the objective reality but also psycholinguistic subjective data. One of the central problems of ethnopsycholinguistics is the problem of relationship of language and thinking or, in other words, the influence of languages on cognitive activity of the speakers. Ethnopsycholinguistics tries to study the forms of the functional mechanisms of speech production and acquisition that are always realized in national language and culture.
