CONSTITUTIONAL GUARANTEES OF ENSURING THE TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF THE STATE: THEORETICAL AND LEGAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

This article examines one of the most important issues in the theory of constitutional law: the study of theoretical and legal issues of constitutional guarantees of the territorial integrity of the state.The article reveals the essence and manifestation of the term “territorial integrity of the state” in modern legal science, as well as the system of modern constitutional guarantees to ensure territorial integrity.The purpose of the study is to take as a basis the features of the research carried out and the results obtained, doctrinal approaches within the framework of theoretical and legal views and teachings of lawyers regarding modern constitutional guarantees of territorial integrity, features of the manifestation of the constitutional and legal content of guarantees of territorial integrity in the context of the constitutional norms of the Republic of Armenia.Issues related to individual constitutional guarantees in the context of the constitutional principle of “territorial integrity of the state” deserve special attention. The results of the study will make it possible to form a more detailed understanding of modern issues of constitutional strengthening of the principle of “territorial integrity of the state”, as a result of which we will be able to improve the legislation of the republic.
